Garfield Drumline Rocks LIDFest

On March 21st, the Garfield drumline traveled to Tacoma to participate in LIDFest 2026—the Lincoln Invitational Drumline Festival. Under the direction of Blake Saunders, our bulldogs performed Clocks and Big Strides Solis (written by Sam), performing alongside 13 other high school drumlines and 4 middle schools. For their stellar performance, Garfield brought home prizes for “Best Overall Drumline” and “Best Tenor Section”—congratulations to them!
