Call for Art: Winter Waltz Poster
Create POSTER ART for the 2026 WINTER WALTZ
The Winter Waltz is an annual community celebration and fundraiser for Garfield’s music programs. Garfield orchestras provide music for an evening of dancing enjoyed by students, staff, and parents alike.
Theme for 2026: Over the Waves
Deadline: Monday, October 20
Final art will be used to publicize the Winter Waltz in print and on social media:
Posters at Garfield and around the city
Program cover at the event itself
Web, Facebook and Instagram
SUBMISSION: Send a simple digital file or photo of your submission to Mr. Sundt at: mjsundt@seattleschools.org
FINAL ART must be adaptable to an 11×17 poster image size at 300dpi (3300 x 5100 pixels).

We can work with you to format, scan or photograph final design for use in the poster and program.
We are seeking imaginative concepts and imagery with the potential to create a strong, attractive design. A professional designer will adapt chosen work for use in the poster and programs. You can be as involved in this process as you wish!

The winning entry or entries will receive:
Written credit on posters and programs
Copies of printed and digital materials for portfolio use
$100 honorarium
